Over five million worshippers perform prayers at Prophet's Mosque in a Week

Madinah [Saudi Arabia], April 19: The Prophet's Mosque in Madinah received more than five million worshippers last week, according to the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), a total of 5,548,288 worshippers visited the mosque during the week. The authority ensured integrated and high-quality services, facilitating smooth and efficient prayer sessions for the crowds.
Among the visitors, 677,687 visited the Prophet Mohammed's tomb, while 259,944 worshippers performed prayers at Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifa, following organised procedures that managed the movement of the crowds and scheduled times for optional prayers for both men and women.
Additionally, the authority provided services to 9,172 elderly individuals and people with disabilities. Guidance services were offered to 8,196 visitors, while 106,477 utilised translation services. Furthermore, 1,787 individuals sought information at the Prophet's Mosque library.
