3 killed in supermarket roof collapse in southern Brazil

Sao Paulo [Brazil], March 24: The roof of a supermarket collapsed Friday night in the southern Brazilian city of Pontal do Parana, killing three people and injuring 10 others, the local fire department reported Saturday.
The tragedy happened at the Super Rede Atacadista supermarket where hundreds of people were attending its opening party.
The water tanks of the supermarket gave way and caused the roof to collapse, killing a woman instantly.
Fire department spokesman Fabricio Frazatto told reporters that on Saturday morning, firefighters found the bodies of two other women under the rubble.
