4 injured in U.S. highway shooting

Houston [US], November 11: At least four people were shot and injured on an interstate highway early Friday evening in Birmingham, southern U.S. state of Alabama, authorities said.
The Birmingham Police Department told local media that a woman was detained, and the four shooting victims were also considered suspects.
Birmingham Fire officials said that two among the four injured were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
A large police presence was on the scene where multiple lanes of traffic were closed following the shooting.
