5.2-magnitude quake hits Izu Islands, Japan - USGS

Tokyo [Japan], October 8: An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 jolted Izu Islands, Japan, at 0536 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 29.74 degrees north latitude and 140.14 degrees east longitude.
