5.2-magnitude quake hits southeast of Easter Island - USGS

Beijing [China], August 4: An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 jolted southeast of Easter Island at 0044 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 35.47 degrees south latitude and 99.75 degrees west longitude.
