5.8-magnitude quake hits Chiapas, Mexico -- GFZ

Mexico City [Mexico], October 7: An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 jolted Chiapas, Mexico at 0506 GMT on Saturday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 128.6 km, was initially determined to be at 17.14 degrees north latitude and 94.88 degrees west longitude.
