At least five Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza City

Sep 01, 2026

Gaza [Palestine], September 1: At least five Palestinians have been killed in Israeli air strikes in Gaza City.
Al-Shifa Hospital said it received two bodies on Monday morning after an Israeli air attack on the entrance of a residential building.
Later, the hospital said it received three additional bodies and several wounded after an Israeli drone targeted a civilian car in the Tal al-Hawa neighbourhood.
Gaza's Health Ministry said at least 1,300 Palestinians have been killed by Israel since a ceasefire was agreed in October.
Meanwhile, Israeli authorities have established a new settlement named "Noa" south of other settlements that were built on Palestinian-owned land in Jenin, the occupied West Bank, Palestinian news agency Wafa reports.
Several Israeli ministers and Knesset members attended a ceremony marking the new settlement.
The development comes amid escalating Israeli settlement projects in the northern West Bank.
