Feb 06, 2025

Brussels [Belgium], February 6: All of Brussels' metro lines were back in operation on Wednesday afternoon after a manhunt for armed suspects in the tunnels of the city's underground system brought public transport to a partial standstill.
The two metro lines and four tram lines that were partially suspended are gradually resuming their usual service, public transport company STIB-MIVB wrote on X.
Two men carrying firearms were filmed by surveillance cameras inside a station in the district of Anderlecht shortly after shots were fired outside the station, public broadcaster RTBF reported. No arrests have been made. (DPA)
