Colombian president confirms car bomb blast at military outpost

Bogota (Colombia), June 16: Colombian President Ivan Duque on Tuesday confirmed that a car bomb exploded at a national army brigade outpost in the northeastern city of Cucuta.
"Following the explosion of a vehicle inside Brigade 30 ... in the city of Cucuta, I have instructed the Minister of Defense, @Diego_Molano, to go to the city and carry out the investigations that will clarify this unfortunate situation," Duque tweeted.
Cucuta is a Colombian border city. Local media reported that a car bomb explosion at a military base in the city on Tuesday injured several people.
