Congolese President Tshisekedi rules out dialogue with M23 rebels

Kinshasa [DR Congo], February 24: Democratic Republic of Congo President Felix Tshisekedi has ruled out dialogue with the rebel militia M23 at a meeting with the leaders of his coalition government and announced the formation of a national unity government.
"We must unite," Tshisekedi said during a press conference after the meeting on Saturday evening. He added that the coalition should not allow itself to be distracted by internal tensions and manipulation from outside.
He did not provide any details as to what exactly a national unity government would look like. Tshisekedi said that he plans to seek dialogue with various party leaders next week.
