New Delhi [India], April 4: In a significant marker of business confidence and personal wealth creation, Brahamdev Shukla, Sourav Shukla, and Rohan Shukla -- the promoter family behind Mumbai-based DGS Group -- have collectively acquired a luxury penthouse unit at Oberoi Elysian in Goregaon East, in a deal valued at approximately ₹60 crore.
The acquisition, one of the largest individual residential transactions recorded at the prestigious Oberoi Elysian development, covers a sprawling 8,561 sq. ft. (approximately 795.53 sq. metres) and includes eight dedicated parking slots -- a rare premium in Mumbai's space-constrained luxury segment. The registered agreement value stands at ₹56.28 crore, with stamp duty of ₹3.37 crore paid on the transaction, underscoring the deal's scale and stature.
For DGS Group, the purchase reflects more than a real estate bet -- it signals the promoters' deepening footprint in Mumbai's premium lifestyle segment. Goregaon East, buoyed by rapid infrastructure development and its emergence as a sought-after residential corridor, has increasingly drawn high-net-worth buyers looking to combine connectivity with luxury living.
The Oberoi Elysian project is currently under construction, with possession expected next year. The transaction is a testament to the sustained appetite among India's business families for large-format, branded luxury residences -- and places the Shukla family of DGS Group firmly among Mumbai's most discerning real estate investors.
