Ebola cases in Congo rise to 710

Kinshasa [Democratic Republic of Congo], June 14: The Ministry of Health in the Democratic Republic of Congo announced Saturday that the number of confirmed Ebola cases in the country has risen to 710, while 139 deaths have been recorded.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) jointly launched a $518 million, six-month emergency response plan to combat the Ebola outbreak.
