Dec 27, 2024

Moscow [Russia], December 27: Russia's aviation authority temporarily suspended air traffic at all four Moscow airports for a short period of time on Thursday for safety reasons.
No take-offs or landings were allowed at the Moscow airports of Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Zhukovsky, the Rosaviation authority announced.
The temporary restrictions also applied to the airport in the city of Kaluga, 190 kilometres south-west of Moscow. No specific reasons were given. After a short time, the all-clear was given again. Restrictions have repeatedly been imposed at various airports in Russia in the wake of drone attacks from Ukraine. (DPA)
