Hadjar to miss Italian Grand Prix due to injury

Sep 03, 2026

New York [US], September 3: Isack Hadjar's ongoing wrist injury has ruled him out of this weekend's Italian Grand Prix where his Red Bull will again be driven by Liam Lawson. The Frenchman, in his debut season with the team, sustained the problem during the summer break and missed the first race back in Zandvoort a fortnight ago.
Lawson - who was unceremoniously dumped by Red Bull after just two races last year - finished seventh on his return to the team from Racing Bulls. A Red Bull statement read: "Liam Lawson will drive alongside Max Verstappen at the Italian Grand Prix in Monza, while Isack continues to make encouraging progress following the wrist injury sustained during the summer break.
