The Scent of Pho is a film directed by Minh Beta, revolving around the story of Mr. Mui (played by artist Xuan Hinh) - the owner of a famous pho restaurant. Because of his desire to find someone to pass on his trade, conflicts arise between him and his children, but ultimately, the message of forgiveness and understanding resolves the issues. The film was released on the first day of Tet (Lunar New Year), creating competition with Tran Thanh 's "Tho Oi" (Oh , Little Rabbit) and Truong Giang's "Nha Ba Toi Mot Phong" ( My Father's House Has One Room )
