Kyrgyzstan sees nearly 21 million foreign entries in 2025

Bishek [Kyrgyzstan], January 24: Nearly 21 million foreign citizens entered Kyrgyzstan in 2025, an increase of 18.6 percent compared with 2024 and 20 percent compared with 2023, the country's Border Service of the State Committee for National Security said Friday.
The figures indicate a significant rise in interest in Kyrgyzstan as a destination for tourism, travel and business, said the border service in a press release.
The sharp increase in inbound traffic in 2025 is due to the development of tourism infrastructure, the expansion of international routes, the active promotion of the country's natural and cultural potential, as well as the growth of business and investment contacts, said the release
