Moderate earthquake hits central Indonesia

Jakarta [Indonesia], November 21:An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted East Nusa Tenggara province in central Indonesia on Sunday evening, the country's meteorology, climatology and geophysics agency said.
The quake occurred at 20:49 local time (1349 GMT) with the epicenter at 51 km southeast of Kupang city of the province and the depth at 49 km under the seabed, the agency said.
The quake did not trigger tsunami, it added.
