New CAF President arrives in Morocco

Rabat (Morocco) Apr 24: The president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Patrice Motsepe arrived Friday in Morocco on a working visit, Moroccan television reported.
Motsepe will meet with FIFA Council Member, and Royal Morocco Football Federation President FouziLekjaa, and visit many football facilities in the North African country.
On Thursday, Motsepe met several stakeholders in Egypt - the host country of CAF headquarters, according to the CAF website.
Motsepe, together with Secretary-General VeronMosengo-Omba, attended Tuesday the UEFA Ordinary Congress.
Motsepe became, on March 12 in Rabat, the 7th CAF president, after being elected unopposed at the 43rd CAF General Assembly.
For almost two decades, he has been the president of a South African club, MamelodiSundowns.
