Orban hopes Trump's return would bring immediate peace to Ukraine

Aug 31, 2023

Budapest [Hungary], August 31: Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban is convinced that only the return of former President Donald Trump to lead the United States can end Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine.
Orban's comments came in an interview with former Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson, which he published on the online platform X, formerly Twitter, on Wednesday.
Asked by Carlson what his next move would be if he were the head of NATO or US President Joe Biden, Orban said he ought to "Call back Trump." Trump's return to office was the only way out, Orban said. He said the former US president is "the only man who can save the Western World." (DPA)
