Putin denounces Ukraine's leaders and praises armaments industry

Dec 11, 2023

Moscow [Russia], December 11:Russian President Vladimir Putin has labelled the leadership of Ukraine, which he invaded, as "idiots and neo-fascists." "They have gone completely mad, or to put it more simply, they have become completely brazen," Putin said at a meeting in the Kremlin with Russian military personnel fighting in Ukraine.
Putin claimed that Ukrainian President VolodymyrZelensky had deliberately applauded an old Nazi, an allusion to a scandal during Zelensky's visit to Canada, when a 98-year-old SS veteran was invited to his speech to parliament and applauded as an opponent of Russian domination of Ukraine.
The speaker of Canada's parliament resigned over the incident. At the same meeting, the Kremlin leader praised his own defence industry. "It produces many times more" compared to when the war began, said Putin. (DPA)
