Mar 18, 2025

Pyongyang [North Korea], March 18: North Korea has slammed the Group of Seven (G7) economically developed Western democracies after the group released a joint statement calling for Pyongyang to abandon nuclear weapons.
A spokesman for North Korea's Foreign Ministry called a declaration released by G7 foreign ministers at the end of a summit in Canada last week "a political provocation". The G7 ministers demanded Pyongyang "abandon all its nuclear weapons and any other weapons of mass destruction as well as ballistic missile programs in accordance with all relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions."
The Foreign Ministry in Pyongyang said that North Korea "will never tolerate any encroachment upon [its] sovereignty and internal affairs." (DPA)
