Doha [Qatar], April 16: Hani Taleb Ballan, CEO of Qatar Stars League (QSL), congratulated Al Rayyan on winning 2025-26 season QSL Cup, praising the outstanding performance they displayed throughout the tournament. He also hailed the club management, fans, players, and technical and administrative staff on the well-deserved achievement.
He emphasized that the tournament witnessed a high level of competition from the beginning of group stage and through the knockout rounds, culminating in the final match, reflecting the remarkable development in the level of teams and players. The QSL CEO pointed out that the new tournament format, which aligns with the latest systems used in tournaments, is part of the development strategy aimed at increasing the number of matches and enhancing opportunities for experience, especially for young players, which also supports the development of Second Division league competitions.
