Apr 27, 2025

Moscow [Russia], April 27: Russia has admitted for the first time that it deployed North Korean soldiers in the battle to recapture the Kursk region on the border with Ukraine. The soldiers from North Korea made a significant contribution to the "liberation" of the region from Ukrainian soldiers, said Russian Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov in a video conference with President Vladimir Putin on Saturday. The participation of North Korean soldiers in the Russian war against Ukraine is considered a violation of international law. (DPA)
