Severe thunderstorm warning ended for Ottawa

Ottawa (Canada) August 13: Environment Canada has ended a severe thunderstorm warning for Ottawa and the surrounding region.
The storm warning was called off just before 5 p.m. Environment Canada had warned it was capable of producing strong wing gusts and nickel-sized hail.
The morning started off mild but warmed up in the afternoon to 28 C.
If you're planning to spend time outside, don't forget sunscreen - the UV index is seven, or high.
There's a 40-per-cent chance of showers later in the day, with overnight temperatures dropping down to 13 C.
