Sheikh Joaan meets President of Syrian Olympic Committee

Doha [Qatar], September 27: H.E. Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), on Thursday met with Firas Mualla, President of the Syrian Olympic Committee, at 'Qatar House' at the ongoing 2026 Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan. The meeting reviewed ways to enhance cooperation between the OCA and the Syrian Olympic Committee, aiming to support the Syrian sports movement. Views were also exchanged on several topics of mutual interest, most notably the progress of the ongoing 20th Asian Games "Aichi-Nagoya 2026'.
