Stockholm [Sweden], February 18: Four men have been convicted in Sweden for their involvement in a Somali branch of the terrorist militia Islamic State, the district court in Nacka said on Monday.
They were sentenced to between three and six-and-a-half years in prison, with three of them also convicted of serious weapon offences.
Their offences included, among other things, recruiting for the organization, spreading propaganda and weapons training, the district court said.
The four men were arrested almost a year ago during a high-profile operation by the Swedish Security Service (Sapo) at various locations in Tyreso, less than 20 kilometres south-east of Stockholm, including at a location described as a mosque.
