'Terminator' Arnold Schwarzenegger was detained at a German airport

Berlin [Germany], January 18: Hollywood action movie star and former Governor of California (USA) Arnold Schwarzenegger was detained at an airport in Germany over a watch.
According to AFP on January 18, citing customs spokesman Thomas Meister in Germany, Hollywood action movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger was just detained at Munich airport in Germany for not declaring an expensive watch .
Mr. Schwarzenegger (77 years old), former Governor of California , was detained at the customs area on the afternoon of January 17 (local time) after arriving on a flight from the US.
According to Mr. Meister, Mr. Schwarzenegger is expected to be able to continue his journey during the day, but "the watch will probably have to stay."
The spokesman said criminal proceedings have been initiated against the Terminator star and the former bodybuilder for tax evasion . Accordingly, Mr. Schwarzenegger should have paid tax because he intended to sell this watch within the European Union (EU).
This expensive watch is expected to be auctioned at a fundraising dinner for Mr. Schwarzenegger's climate initiative in the town of Kitzbuehel in Austria.
According to the initiative's website, items typically auctioned at such dinners include works of art and autographed memorabilia. According to Bild newspaper , the above watch was made specifically for Mr. Schwarzenegger by Audemars Piguet (Switzerland).
