Feb 27, 2026

Hanoi [Vietnam], February 27: The film project "Hero" has officially released its first poster and trailer, revealing plot details revolving around a taxi driver and single father who becomes embroiled in a multi-million dollar charity fraud case.
This film marks the reunion of director Vo Thach Thao and producer Timothy Linh Bui.
The film stars Thai Hoa , Vo Tan Phat, Phuong Thanh, and others.
According to the producers, after a series of box office hits, Thai Hoa returns this time in a more reserved and thoughtful role. His character, Hung, is not the perfect father to his two daughters, Han (played by Phuong Thanh), who is going through puberty, and My (played by child actress Gia Tue), who is terminally ill. The role demands that the actor portray the mindset of a father caught between the gaze of his family and society: saving lives or becoming a criminal when his children's lives are in the hands of death...
With the film "Hero ," female director Vo Thach Thao marks her entry into the world of cinema with a gritty, topical, yet emotionally rich story . The film, a psychological, family, and social drama, focuses on faith, honor, and the price of choices. It is scheduled to be released on April 24th.
