Hanoi [Vietnam], June 19: The reunion after many years of Hong Kong screen couple Xuan Xuan and Louis Koo has attracted public attention. Recently, the actress shared about the pressures behind the scenes, especially her experience of venturing into the recording studio.
According to Sohu , Xuan Xuan recently appeared at the opening event of a fashion brand. The actress attracted media attention when she openly shared details about her advertising project combined with a music video, "Love Across Time," starring alongside actor Louis Koo . This project marks the long-awaited reunion of the golden couple of TVB.
The impromptu kissing scene lasted for several minutes.
When asked about filming a commercial and releasing a song with Louis Koo, Xuan Xuan said: "When I was little, the commercials I watched all had stories and were very touching, but I never thought I would have this opportunity, so when I got this chance, I felt very happy."
As soon as the music video was released, the kissing scene between Xuan Xuan and Louis Koo quickly became a hot topic of discussion online. Regarding this detail, the actress, born in 1970, seemed quite relaxed. She revealed that the kissing scene was not in the original script but was added spontaneously by the director on set. "Initially, I thought it was just a quick shot, but when we switched to the party scene, the director asked us to reshoot it. Because I've worked with Louis Koo for many years and have perfect chemistry, I didn't hesitate and immediately joined in," Xuan Xuan shared. Notably, the star also humorously recounted that the two had to maintain the kiss for several minutes because the camera had to constantly move around to capture the best angles.
Crisis in the recording studio
Despite being a veteran actress, Tuyen Huyen admits that she faced a real crisis when entering the recording studio. For her, the pressure of singing was far greater than performing the romantic scenes.
According to Sohu , due to the elaborate and aesthetically pleasing visuals of the music video, Xuan Xuan was always worried that her singing would detract from the overall quality of the work. Even though her manager proactively lowered the song's key by two tones, the actress still trembled on the first day of recording. She even had to ask for the studio glass to be covered to avoid the crew's gaze and to ease her anxiety. When evaluating her own performance, Xuan Xuan modestly gave herself a score of "just enough to pass." Notably, after this experience, the actress from "Detective Files" expressed her desire to continue studying vocal music and even try her hand at rap to explore new aspects of herself.
Following news that Louis Koo is preparing to hold a solo live show at the Hong Kong Arena, fans are hoping the duo will perform the song " Love Across Time" together on stage . In response to this question, Jessica Hsuan subtly left open the possibility of attending and performing. She revealed that she is considering adjusting her personal travel schedule after her birthday to be able to show support for her close friend. Due to a recurring back injury, Jessica Hsuan has stopped exercising, making dancing impossible and potentially affecting her performance with Louis Koo.
