Two Palestinians killed, 29 wounded in Gaza

Jul 30, 2026

Gaza [Palestine], July 30: Two Palestinians have been killed and 29 others injured in Gaza over the past 24 hours, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday.
One of the fatalities was a new death, while the other succumbed to earlier wounds. Additional victims remain trapped under debris or lie dead on roads with Palestinian Civil Defence crews unable to reach them, the ministry said in a statement.
Since the "ceasefire", the Health Ministry has recorded 1,209 deaths and 3,943 injuries, alongside 803 bodies retrieved from the rubble.
The cumulative toll since the outbreak of Israel's genocidal war in October 2023 now stands at 73,335 killed and 174,052 wounded, it said.
Meanwhile, an Israeli military court rejected four petitions seeking to halt the demolition of a school and three homes in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank.
The court dismissed a petition against a military order to demolish a secondary girls school, which has been under threat of demolition since 2016. The ruling clears the way for Israeli forces to carry out the demolitions at any time.
