UAE airports handle 103 mln passengers in Jan-Aug, up 5.3 pct

Dubai [UAE], October 10: Airports across the United Arab Emirates (UAE) handled 102.9 million passengers in the first eight months of 2025, up 5.3 percent from 97.9 million in the same period a year earlier, official data showed on Monday.
The statement said the figures reinforced the UAE's position as a global aviation hub, noting that Dubai has become a model in air traffic management and service delivery through sustained investment in infrastructure and smart technologies.
It added that Abu Dhabi's Zayed International Airport is expanding capacity with development projects aimed at strengthening the capital's role as a regional aviation hub.
