UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation supports 'Bridges of Goodness' for quake-hit victims

Abu Dhabi [UAE], March 19: The UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation said the proceeds of registration in the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2023 will be allocated to supporting the "Bridges of Goodness" campaign in solidarity with the quake-hit victims in Syria and Türkiye.
"We are proud of our partnership with the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, and we are keen to be among the influential participants in its relief and humanitarian campaigns that reflect the role of the UAE and its leadership in providing aid to others," said Abdel Moneim Al Hashemi, Chairman of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, President of the Asian Ju-Jitsu Union, and Senior Vice President of the International Jiu-Jitsu Federation.
Mubadala Arena in Zayed Sports City is hosting the international sporting event from March 17 to 19.

New Delhi [India], March 23 (ANI/Seraphim): The Board of Trustees of the Wikimedia Foundation, the nonprofit that operates Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects, has unanimously approved enforcement guidelines for the first-of-its-kind Universal Code of Conduct (UCoC). The code, which was developed hand in hand with more than 1500 Wikimedia project volunteers, outlines global standards for behavior across Wikipedia and all Wikimedia projects to prevent and address harassment and other negative behavior. The enforcement guidelines further describe how the community of Wikimedia volunteers and the Wikimedia Foundation will be able to achieve the goals of the code.
