Taipei [Taiwan], January 31: In episode 57 of 'The Dividing Line' currently airing on VTV1, the psychological development of the two characters played by Hong Diem and Manh Truong has sparked debate among viewers.
In recent episodes of "The Dividing Line ," the characters of Deputy Director Hang Thu, played by Hong Diem , and Chief of Staff Pham Ngoc Trien, played by Manh Truong, have experienced many dramatic psychological developments. More than just a confrontation between law enforcement and offenders, the relationship between Thu and Trien is also a story of friendship pushed to the harshest line when justice prevails.
From the beginning of the film, Hang Thu is portrayed as a model female leader in the prosecution sector - strong, calm, and principled. She always possesses the composure of someone in a position to approve and supervise important procedural decisions. Thu is not boisterous or domineering in her words, but demonstrates her authority through decisive and clear handling of her work. This rationality makes her a cornerstone of the film's anti-corruption and wrongdoing storyline. Thu's tragedy arises when signs of wrongdoing gradually emerge, and the person under suspicion turns out to be Pham Ngoc Trien - her close friend of 20 years.
