In a post on his personal page, singer Hoai Lâm apologized to his "mentor" Đam Vĩnh Hưng and those who have loved him for "not resting properly" during the past period, and for having negative actions and thoughts on Facebook, which saddened and disappointed those who love him.
The male singer acknowledges that what he has today didn't come naturally. "The ancestors have blessed me with a singing voice. My parents gave me life, my teachers have guided me, and the audience has loved and given me the opportunity to stand on stage. I must cherish and live more responsibly with all of that," he wrote.
Hoai Lâm admitted that an apology cannot make up for what has happened. Instead, he wants to use his actions in the coming time to prove his change. The male singer said he will focus on singing anywhere, from temples, weddings, parties, fairs to village communal houses... The singer of "Hoa nở khong mau" (Flowers Bloom Without Color ) affirmed that as long as there are people who want to hear him sing, he will try his best not to disappoint his audience.
