EU pledges to support Ukraine in dealing with Russia

Geneva [Switzerland], June 28: The agreement commits Europe to continuing arms deliveries, military training and other assistance to Ukraine in the coming years. The agreement will outline EU commitments to Ukraine in nine areas related to security and defense. Ukraine has previously signed similar bilateral agreements with countries such as the United States, Britain, France and Germany. Officials say these agreements are not the same as mutual defence pacts between NATO members but are commitments to provide assistance to enhance Kyiv's security and deter future attacks.
